Ergonomic Review

Ergonomics can be defined as fitting the job to the employee. All employees are not the same size, and everyone has limits. Ergonomics aims to design workstations, work processes, equipment, and tools to fit you. As an employee, it is important that you know how to adjust your workstation to suit you.

By provision of information and a professional assessment, the client/staff will be more comfortable in their workplace, less likely to suffer injury or re-injury, enabling the work productivity to improve.

An ergonomic review involves:

  • review of discomfort surveys
  • work related injuries log
  • medical records
  • observations
  • measurements (questionnaires/ ergonomic tools)
  • analysis of tasks carried out
  • evaluation of the data
  • implementation of ergonomic improvements to reduce injury occurrence
  • changes are reviewed as requested
