Stay At Work (Graduated return to work programmes)
A return to work programme is a proactive way for employers to assist injured workers stay at work or return to productive and safe employment as soon as physically possible. This is based on the philosophy that many injured workers can safely perform productive work during the process of recovery. It is a vital part of the rehabilitation process. Therapy Works liaise closely with those involved to assist with early rehabilitation.
Every situation is unique and the rehabilitation plan is based on individual circumstances.
A written plan is provided to document suitable duties/hours and work restrictions
Current functional capabilities are matched to selected duties
Close liaison occurs between therapists, employers, claimants and all other relevant parties, with written progress reports disseminated
Early identification of work barriers and psychosocial issues, addressing how these can be resolved
